What's been going on?
- We have started a new Math unit! We will be building on our knowledge of decimals to the hundredths, and using them in addition and subtraction problems. If decimals are still challenging, please consider extra practice at home of ordering and identifying decimals to tenths and hundredths.
- We are also starting a new Science unit, Energy! In this unit, students will explore non-contact forces such as gravity, electrostatic force and magnetism. If any families happen to have empty, unused balloons please send them in for our electrostatic force experiment.
- Yesterday we had literacy station tech, where we went on Epic and Quill.
- We did campfire reading today.
- We drew Lilly the "Zebra" from Wild Summer.
- We reviewed addition and subtraction strategies.
