What's been going on?
- In Phys Ed, we started soccer skills
- In Science we did a reading comprehension task, where we read a text and answered questions (we will need more practice with this)
- In Math, we started using the standard algorithm to add numbers with decimals
- We did a school wide writing activity about a magic door
- We introduced a new literacy station! Comprehension is now a literacy station where students will read Science and Social Studies text and answer questions
- Quacks has a new cozy outfit - but still needs some boots!!!
- Yesterday, we had a guest teacher while Miss Herron was away sick

- Conferences are Thursday and Friday next week
- If you have any unused balloons, please bring them to school for our electrostatic experiment
HOW TO BOOK A PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCE
- Log-in to MyCBE. If you do not have an account, follow the Create a MyCBE Account instructions.
- Click on the My School Conferences icon.
- Click on the time slot that is available and convenient for you. Ensure pop-up windows are allowed.
- In the pop-up window, you will choose your child (you have the option to enter the student's name), the name of the parent / guardian is pre-filled, but can also be changed.
HOW TO CREATE A MYCBE ACCOUNT (IF YOU DON'T ALREADY HAVE ONE)
- Go to www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe and click on the “Create Parent Account” link.
Important: The email that you are using to create your account must be the same one you have provided to the school.
