What's going on?
- We have been LOVING the student sharing about cultural celebrations. It is incredible to learn more about each student and watch them be brave while presenting to the class. Please continue to send photos!
- Yesterday, we worked hard on our story vines. We have now completed 2/4 of our pictures and will continue working on them next week
- We practiced our division facts with some fun games on the Chromebooks
- Continued our Space writing, reviewed what is expected in an informative paragraph (not using the word I, keeping it to the facts, strong topic and concluding sentences)
- Today, we had Phys Ed
- We met with our buddies and made the dragon scales for the Lunar New Year dragon that is being made by the grade 3's
- Coloured our dragon faces that we have been working on
- We went OUTSIDE! It was beautiful weather and we had a ton of fun playing in the snow
- Had our campfire reading time
- Talked about black history month, and will continue learning about it next week
- Wrote in our gratitude journals about kindness and how we can show it to others
