What's going on?
- We had our final working time for poems this morning and started autobiography planning
- In Music, we played the ukuleles and learned the G chord
- In Science, we made a visual journal page about the sun
- For literacy stations, we got to pick an activity and only had one rotation today
- In Math, we practiced arithmetic sequencing 
- We used a noise level meter and only lost 3 minutes of outdoor time

FOOD BANK FOOD DRIVE – HELPING CALGARY FAMILIES IN NEED

Food Drive, Food Bank, Donation, Cans, Food Bank, Jars, Volunteer, Food

Our school community is coming together to support families in Calgary through our upcoming Food Bank Drive. Many local families are facing rising food costs and unexpected challenges, and even a small donation can make a meaningful difference.

By donating non‑perishable food items, our students and families help ensure that children and parents in our city have access to healthy, nourishing food. Contributions to the Calgary Food Bank help support emergency food hampers, school programs, and community partners that serve families right here in our neighbourhoods.

This drive is also a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn about kindness, empathy, and the power of helping others. Together, we can show that our school cares and that when a community works as a team, we can make a real impact.

Students can bring in non-perishable food items, sch as canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal and other pantry staples. (Please avoid sending expired or opened items, or items that require refrigeration.)
